Trunk or Treat is a community event where participants gather at the Adams County Fairgrounds, to celebrate Halloween in a safe and organized environment. Instead of traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating, children go from car to car, collecting candy from the decorated trunks of participating vehicles. Each vehicle’s trunk is creatively decorated with various themes, ranging from spooky and fun to whimsical and family-friendly. Volunteers, often parents, local businesses, or community groups, distribute candy or small treats from their trunks. Trunk or Treat provides a controlled and convenient space for children to enjoy Halloween festivities while fostering a sense of community. The event often includes additional activities such as games, contests, and refreshments, making it an enjoyable experience for families and participants of all ages.
